Converting to Electric

Almost any CL plane can be converted to ELECTRIC power. It only adds about 3 to 6 oz. of weight and it costs less than a competitive engine (PA .51/pipe = $445) and the fuel to run it! (100 flights = $80) :-)

The balance point comes out approximately the same as the wet power system too. AND your CG never changes during the flight! :-)

It takes approximately 45 min. to recharge a battery after each flight. A few extra Battery makes it easy to fly all day.

PS: I weighed my OS .40/ muffler (11 oz) + tank (2 oz.) + fuel (5 oz) = 18 oz. Electric: motor (6.3 oz) + Battery (13 oz) + Contoler (1.5 oz) + etc.(1.5 oz) = 22.3 oz.
