Old Business: Finally had an opportunity to award Dave Kick his Man of the Year award for 2006. We are extremely pleased that he is still around to accept it! Definitely the man is on the mend. Palmer contest preparations - Lined up a couple of judges, discussed whether this is the Palmer Memorial 3 or The Palmer Classic 12. The discussion was tabled. Jim Lally has been instrumental in getting some much needed field maintainance done. Larry top write official thank you letters to the park department. Eric to provide the correct names and addresses (the task is done, by the way). It was proposed and passed to invite Jim and Sally to the Holiday Party at club expense in thanks for his efforts on our behalf. New Business: There will be a Stunt Clinic put on by the Circle Burners on May 6th. It also will have P-40 and Classic contest. Keith Trostle will come out to do the clinic. Don’t miss this if you can help it. Well worth the drive!. No flying at Whittier on Cinco de Mayo weekend. Also there will be a Swap Meet put on by OCRC. Elks Lodge at Trask and Newhope. Phil Hawkins is moving away to Montana. Pity! |
Happy note: Joel Chessler is done with bed rest and is now up and about. He expects to be with us at the March meeting. |
