Antone Kephart had a “Vampire” OT stunter with a Brodak 25. He said the Brodak 25 has plenty of power for the plane. He offered the use of the plane to anyone needing a plane for the Palmer or Joust. Old and New Business: Dale Kirn said will be meeting is the hanger for awhile while classes take place in the classroom. The Palmer Date has been changed to April 14-15. The Joust is still June 2-3. Warren Walker showed the new signs that will be posted at Whittier Narrows. Rudy Taube mentioned that many people are shooting off rockets from the C/L area in the afternoons. He also reminded us about the need for C/L to remain disassociated from the R/C group in the eyes of the park. This is because of the many R/C rule and safety problems. Ken Kaiser said that the “Scamps” have asked us to run C/L at their vintage contest at Los Vegas in October. It was decided that we need more information before makeing that decision. Antone Kepheart mentioned that the “Golden State” contest is up in the air due to site problems. Warren Walker recruited help for the Palmer. Due to Mike Fox being swamped with business because of Valentines Day, he was unable to attend, so there was no raffle. |
